Ecuador

When: 6/18/2010 to 6/26/2010

What: Participate in a short term mission trip with E3 Partner Ministries. Join with national churches to help them start new churches in unreached areas.

Where: The city of Ambato. This will be our second year in a row visiting the area of Ambato.  

Why: We chose this trip primarily because of the vision of E3 Partner Ministries. We also chose Ecuador because we have seen what God is doing in the hearts and lives of the people of Ecuador first hand. On our last trip, with just nine martial artists on the team, we were able to perform in front of over 500 people and saw 150 individuals make professions of faith at our performances.  

Who: This is a family friendly mission trip that is open to anyone with a heart to go and share God’s word with others. Martial Arts Ministries is primarily looking for 100 Christian martial artists who are willing to use their time and talents to serve in Ecuador. Even if you are not a martial artist, we invite you to join us for this life changing experience.

How: During the day you will most likely do door-to-door evangelism with the aid of a translator. A national who is learning how to share their faith more effectively will most likely accompany you. If you are a martial artist, you will probably have the opportunity to perform at various locations during the day and evening. Here you may have the chance to speak to large groups of people and perform. There is nothing set in stone when you go on a mission trip. You have to be willing to be used by God in whatever situation He decides to bring your way.

Cost: The cost of this trip is estimated to be $2400, depending on where you are flying from and airline seat availability. You will need to have $1200 in by March 20th and the remaining $1200 in by May 19th.
